2009 end of season lunch

Mathew and Tony have organised to have the end of year lunch function for 2009 at BluFish. Tony has generously offered to host everyone for lunch at a very modest price of $30 per adult and $10 per child.  As usual, there will be a few surprises on the day.

Junior Presentation Day 8 Nov 2009

Junior Presentation Day will be held at Kim Reserve on November 8th, from 11am – 4pm.  I will post further details as they become available.

Wednesday training is on

Training is on tomorrow (Wed 30th Sept) in preparation for the Altona City Cup. The session will be on at the usual time and place.

Take a break – no training this week

There will be no training this week, so everyone can have a break on Wednesday 23 September 2009.

Training is on as usual tonight

Mat will be running a training session at the regular time and place tonight.  Weather looks good, so it should be a pleasant evening.

No training on Monday nights

There will be no training on Monday nights, starting tonight 31 August 2009.  The sessions on Wednesday nights will run as usual.

Keilor Park Tournament details

On Saturday 12 September, we will be participating in the Keilor Park Tournament at Keilor Park Reserve. There are three Altona City teams participating in the u10 age group.  We will be playing as u10 Altona City Gold, in Group 4.  We have three round robin matches (2 x 15mins halves) as follows -

• 9.00 am Altona City Gold vs Green Gully Mustangs

• 11.30 am Altona City Gold vs Melbourne Knights

• 2.00 pm Altona City Gold vs Clifton Hill

Semi-finals will be played two weeks later on Saturday 26th September 2009.

Photo time changed to 10:30 am sharp!

Sam Hull has been kind enough to shift our photo time slot to 10:30 am to fit in with our away match at Sunshine.  Please be at the Kim Reserve at 10:20 am in full uniform, ready for photos at 10:30 am sharp.

Training cancelled tonight

Unfortunately, Mathew is sick so training will be cancelled for tonight (Monday).  We hope Mat feels better very soon.  At this stage, Wednesday training is still on.
