Spain crowned Euro 2008 Champions

The Paleologoudias family’s two weeks in Bali are over and so is the Euro 2008 tournament with Spain beating the German team in the final.

This means that the Grand Prize goes to Conor Rafferty who’s Spanish team lived up to Maurice’s Bisetto’s pre-tournament prediction and singing. I am sure that Maurice is more than happy to teach everyone how to sing Viva España!  The Second prize goes to James Panopoulos who drew Germany, the tournament favourite.

The Euro 2008 group stage is nearly over.  Group A has completed all matches and the other groups have one more match to play. The teams that finish first and second in their group go through the the quarter final stage, where eight teams will play-off to reach the semi-finals (4 teams remain).
